We came to beautiful New Zealand in 2006 and I soon started my first job as a Junior Data Entry Clerk at an Aircraft Engineering company based at the Auckland International airport.  I think I drove my boss (at the time) crazy with all my questions, as I was new to the industry and trying to get a better understanding of the business, as well as learning how things work in New Zealand.  I soon got bored with basic data entry work, so off I went.

I successfully applied for an Office Manager’s position for a well known South Auckland Plumbing company based in Papatoetoe and worked on the accounts, as well as job scheduling, placing orders, etc.  After two and a half years, I felt it was time to move on, as I missed working in a bigger office.

I joined the Katalyst Office Management team on a part time basis in July 2010 and soon fell in love with the job.  I am very passionate about my job; it is most gratifying to work closely with Directors and staff to help them restore order to their accounts.

I get a great sense of accomplishment and love every aspect of the job – from the modern online software we use, which means easy access at any time giving me the flexibility to work 24/7, and it also helps me to working closely with clients, training and getting them set up for a smooth transition when changing software/payroll packages or introducing new systems to streamline the office to run more efficiently.
