Trades and Technicians – Job Systems

Katalyst are very experienced in trade or technician based business, we are familiar with WorkflowMax, simPRO, Jobsheet, SmartTrade, Harvest and i-Track.  We understand trades, their needs and that there is no one job system that works for everyone.

The benefits of each appeal to different company structures, users and technology available.  There are many ways to use these system, from digital pens that the Tradesman can write with, right through to iPad and smart phones.  You can invoice on the spot, then take payment using your iPhone, or send the invoice or job details off to the office without delay.

Some systems are stronger on reporting and some are easier for Tradespeople to use.  Xero is still the preferred companion accounting program from what I have seen, but most also work with others like MYOB, Quickbooks, Sage and Moneyworks etc.

We can provide some of these programs, or put you in touch with others.  From one user up, the potential is unlimited.  simPRO for instance start with simPRO Streamline, then you can upgrade later on to simPRO Enterprise, where you have more requirements.

WorkflowMax has an excellent Practice Manager for accountants and you can manage your GST as well as client jobs with it.  Yet, it is also excellent for tradesmen.

We can provide a system, setup it up, integrate it with your accounting system (we can provide the accounting system too), train you how to use it, or manage it all for you, then provide support when needed.

Other things to consider are integration with your payroll program, automated feeds from suppliers, access to internet or coverage, stock, GPS and vehicle tracking etc.
