Wow, we had a combined Christmas Party with the girls from Jack Property Maintenance last week.  What a night!

Amanda put on a great night from Strike a Pose – www.strikeapose.co.nz.  Where you do ‘life drawing’… in a hens party format…  Great fun!  We got to polish up on our long dormant drawing skills and have a laugh at the same time.  I haven’t seen so many red faces for ages.

We had a great model called Logan, I believe you can choose a male or female life model, so the boys don’t need to feel excluded from this.  It is kind of hard drawing a … when making eye contact with the model…  I won’t say too much more.  Strike a Pose is a very affordable way to have a fun Christmas party or even.

The girls were very pleased yesterday to welcome Baby Jade to the KOM office …along with her parents of course…  Jai and Sarah Ivarsson from MadeSimple and Jaijaz.

I would like to welcome Sandy and Michelle to the Katalyst team.

Sandy is based in the KOM office and has many years experience as an office manager and Michelle is our kind-of ‘trainee’ who is based on the North Shore.  Michelle is an excel guru, who is keen to learn everything about bookkeeping.  She maybe will pursue accounting a bit further down the track.

Hi Everyone, check out http://dearphotograph.com/.  Very cool website, where people go back to places in photographs and take another photo to include the old photo…  I know that doesn’t make sense, but it will if you check it out…

You have got to love Googles new image search – it must be great for design people wanting to make sure there is nothing similar.  Or, if you are looking for picture – for whatever reason – and need something simliar or in the same series, you can upload the image and google will search for websites and other images like it.  Or, it will find the origin of the image in most cases I tried.

Interesting to note that the Katalyst logo doesn’t come up, so not sure how you would fix that?  It is cool to see what comes up when you upload various images.  It seems to mostly match on colour.

Go to Google, Images and there is a little camera button, click it and then upload an image.

My Mum is moving on, she says a rolling stone gathers no moss…  There is absolutely no moss on my Mother!!!

We will miss her and her smart comments, I will miss my Mummy…  Please wish her well if you talk with her this week.

Mum was at at the V8s over the weekend supporting the uncles – she no longer has finger nails.  They came in first for the weekend – they are also the first kiwis to win in Hamilton – nice.
